UNETHICAL ADVERTISEMENT


All of the advertising experts I spoke to were in agreement that perfume ads are universally not relatable.

False advertising is the use of false, misleading, or unproven information to advertise products to consumers. Consumers' ability to distinguish false advertisements is affected by their emotions. 

People with positive emotions are more sensitive to false advertisements.

This commercial is controversial and unrealistic simply by the fact that no woman would be in any way attracted to men.

 Remember reading somewhere that perfume commercials are made in such a way to let you visualise
 the fragrance because let’s admit, how else are you going to smell the product off a TV screen or a magazine page???


This type of false advertisement should not be performed, as the consumer expects similar products as shown in the ads . 
This can lead to fall in the business profits and its market share if the customer is not satisfied.
